I am being offered a schwinn world sport road bike from 1995, just had 0 worth of work done to it, and I’m having it offered to me for 0. Good deal? It’s in very good condition and rides like a new bike I’ve taken it for a few rides. Just curious what some professionals may think. Oh one more thing it’s for a tall person (I’m 6’6") and fits me well not sure if that ups the price or not.

Um, there was no such thing as a Schwinn World Sport in 1995. The model was retired around 1985 so perhaps the seller is in error.
That being said, it is DEFINITELY not worth $300… it sold for $295.99 brand new. However it was one of Schwinns better models with a hand filet brazed frame rather than their electroforged models so I would have no problem paying $100 for it.
$140 in repairs would have been OK if you already owned the bike and were using it for yourself but getting a bike and fixing it up to sell to make a profit wouldn’t be a good decision.
Never buy a used bike unless you are certain it fits correctly.

fit doesn;t change the price
though if it doesn;t fit you, you shouldn;t buy it
sounds like it;s worth about $150 at most
hard to tell without knowing weight, materials, components used
how many gears?
if it;s a 10 speed, about $100
14 speed, maybe 150

I disagree, for the extremes of frame sizing a good fit can very well add to the price. For someone your height I imagine its quite tough finding anything at all in the used market. If the seller has receipts to back up that $140 claim it could be a decent deal given that it does actually fit you. If its worth it to you then its worth it, offer $250, what the hey.
