People are driving around in cars poluting the air that we breathe, my suggestions are: raising gas prices higher, taking public transportaion or riding bicycles?

The bicycle seems like the ideal vehicle for transportation over short distances. Most people commute less than 10 miles each way to work. Plus, a lot of weekend errands are just driving around from one parking lot to another. The bicycle seems like the solution to a lot of problems- global warming, high gas prices and fat, out of shape people.
